Helleborus Information Page
General information: Very useful family of plants for colour in the early months of the year. You can buy them in pots, maybe cheaper buying online than from the garden centre. I tend go for plant grown in 9cm pot than something grown in one or three litre pot. You may wait a bit longer for something grown in 9cm pot but general rule the bigger pot the more expensive the plant is going to be, I would tend repot them if buy in 9cm pot and grow them in pot on patio for few years before planting them out into the garden, in permanent postion in the garden and try not move them after that, as the roots are easily damage and will take time to recover.
Photography Information: Use macro lens to take photos of them and you need play around with photo editing software to bring out best results of the flower.
Where to buy: Do web search, I have found Gardeners Dream and J Parker bulbs & plants have good range of Hellebores.
