Helleborous orientalis 'Star of Passion'
General Information: First apologize for lack photos has only bought this plant in 9cm pot from Gardeners Dream in January 2026. I have repotted into 10 litre pot and let it grow in compost bin area of garden.
Description:‘Star of Passion’ is a striking cultivar of Helleborus orientalis, prized for its elegant winter-to-early-spring blooms. This perennial features large, outward-facing flowers in shades of deep burgundy to rich purple, often accented with subtle veining and a central cluster of golden stamens. The petals have a velvety texture, giving the blooms a luxurious appearance.
Foilage:The plant forms a dense clump of evergreen, leathery leaves that are deeply divided and dark green, providing year-round interest and a lush backdrop for the dramatic flowers.
Height and Spread:
Height 30cm to 45cm Spread 45cm to 60cm
Light:Partial to full shade.
Care: Remove old foliage in late Winter before new growth emerges.
