A 27.78 mile ride to Silverdale This is 27.78 mile cycle route, starting and finishing at Halton Station, with three off-road sections, two cafe stops at the Refreshment Room on Carnforth Railway Station and Clear Water Bistro & Bar near Borwick. You can see more photos of the route and read the ride report which this route is based on at this link (Please note that permitted bridleway from the Old Coach Road to Occupation Road close in 2019 so please follow the bridleway along Occupation Road). The maps you need on this ride are Ordnance Survey Explorer Map OL41 Forest of Bowland & Ribblesdale and Ordnance Survey Explorer Map OL7 The English Lakes South- eastern area.
