Ride report by Simeon Orme It one of those days where I should check the pressure in the front tyre and pump it up with the track pump, has had problems with the pump which had in my saddlebag not wanting to pump a inter tube and want not please when had change inter tube again before the pump would work again! The up shot of this wasted about hour of my on time in Claughton at side of the A683 dealing with this and at end ride decide to Pro Bike Tool Mini Floor Pump via Mr Amazon. I follow my usual route to Wray from Halton jumping on to A683 a bit sooner due to resurfacing of the cycle path which hopeful will extended up the Lune Valley to Hornby. So when I got Wray it more like near lunch time as you can see from the food photos I order a bit more than my coffee and cake. Has also enjoy photography as well cycling, I did mess around the grounds of the tearoom taking photos and putting some knowledge I gain from reading Outdoor Photograph magazine to some good use. I then followed the tarmac up the Hindburn Valley to Mill Houses before following Russells Lane out of the Hindburn Valley, after about good mile I turn on to Old Moor Road which followed down into Wenning Valley with short section on the B6480 before following Lodge Lane to Melling where turn on to the A683 which I followed back down the Lune Valley towards Hornby. I cross back over the River Lune via the Loyn Bridge and surprise to see potholes being repair on Fleet Lane which don’t often see, I soon turn on to Eskrigge Lane which changes names to Lea Lane after passing through the hamlet of Eskrigge. I then followed Aughton Road and then Kirkby Lonsdale Road back to Halton.
