Ride report by Simeon Orme
After morning coffee at the Posthorn in Sedbergh, we make our way along Howgill Lane and the Fairmile Road to Low Borrowbridge. Then after crossing the A685 and then follow the bridleway up into Borrowdale, after passing High Borrowdale Farm House, we soon stop for lunch.

After lunch we continue on up the valley, as we near the A6 we cross over Borrow Beck and made away up the Breasthigh Road before dropping down into Breatherdale. At GR 576049 we follow the road up to Bretherdale Head, then cross over Breatherdale Beck and then followed the public byway to GR 588050. Then cross over the road and follow the bridleway through High Whinhowe and Low Whinhowe Farms and continue down to Greenholme where we stop for afternoon tea at the local agriculture show. We then continue back to Sedbergh via Pikestone Lane, Roundthwaite, Fairmile Road and Howgill Lane.
