Primula 'Sentsation Rhubarb &Custard'
Bought these plants in September 2026 from Gardening direct for Spring flowering in 2027 like most Primulas grown for bedding may last another flowering before the need for dividing.

Plant description: Primula ‘Scentsation Rhubarb & Custard’ is a charming, early-flowering perennial prized for its delicious fragrance and eye-catching bicoloured blooms. The flowers display soft primrose-yellow petals flushed and edged with warm pink, creating a delightful "rhubarb and custard" effect. Held above neat rosettes of fresh green foliage, the blooms appear from late winter into spring, bringing welcome colour and scent to borders, containers, patio displays and woodland gardens.

Compact and easy to grow, this hardy primrose thrives in moist, well-drained soil in partial shade, although it will tolerate full sun in cooler conditions. Reaching around 15-20 cm (6-8 in) in height and spread, it is ideal for the front of borders and makes an excellent choice for attracting early pollinators. Its sweet fragrance and long flowering season make ‘Scentsation Rhubarb & Custard’ a delightful addition to any spring garden.
