I bought this variety in early November 2026 from Ashwood Nurseries planted besided the front garden wall.
Plant description: Clematis 'Bees' Jubilee' is a beautiful large-flowered deciduous climber renowned for its impressive blooms and long flowering season. From late spring to early summer, and often again in late summer, it produces large, star-shaped flowers in soft mauve-pink tones, each petal marked with a rich carmine-red central bar. The contrasting creamy-yellow stamens add further elegance, creating a striking display against the deep green foliage.

Growing to around 2.5–3m (8–10ft), this compact yet vigorous variety is ideal for training over trellises, arches, obelisks, fences, or through small shrubs and climbing roses. It performs best in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade, with its roots kept cool and shaded. As a member of the large-flowered Group 2 clematis, it benefits from light pruning in late winter or early spring.

Reliable, free-flowering, and exceptionally ornamental, Clematis 'Bees' Jubilee' is an excellent choice for adding soft colour and vertical interest to gardens of all sizes. Its elegant, two-toned blooms make it a favourite among clematis enthusiasts and a standout feature throughout the flowering season.
