Well I may inprove my editing skills a little a bit this week with downloading of Boris Fx Optics 2026.5 which you find more information at this link. I bought the Perpetual Licence version which cost £115.00 plus Vat which now starting having to pay when downloading software from the USA. The only problem I had with software, I did have good enough graphic driver and followed the work around on the Boris FX forum and Disalbe GPU Rendering and got the software working. With AI being added to photographic software, I decided to get better Desktop PC with 30 GB of Ram install to future prove me over next few years with regards photographic editing software upgrades. Yes I think Boris FX Optices is worth the cash and works well with Affinity which I use as my main photo editing software (Which free to download from there website). My work flow when photo edting is upload the photos from memory card using One drive which moves the photos into folder in Camera Imports, then use DxO PhotoLab 10 to do general editing and sort out the photos before exporting back to folder in Camera Imports, then use the ONI Resize AI 2026 to resize and sharpen up the photos for the web before exporting back to folder in Camera Imports. Then use DxO PhotoLab 10 to export the photos into Affinity to do the finishing touches, I do this using photo plugins the main ones are ONI NoNoise AI 2027 to denoise the photo and do some general editing in Nik Collection 9, Boris FX Optics 2026.5 and Filter Forge 15 before doing the finishing touches in Affinity, then exporting the photos to folder on external hard drive where store all my photos for use on the website.
If don't want to pay subscription each year for photo editing software, the must have some software is DxO PhotoLab 10, Affinity, ONI NoNoise AI 2027 (I still have Topaz Photo on the desktop but I think will get better results from ONI No Noise AI 2027 the main problem with Topaz Photo you now have to pay subscription to use it and if you doing alot resizing, sharping and denoising of photos both ONI NoNoise AI 2027 and ONI Resize AI 2026 are in ONI flagship software ONI Photo Raw 2027), Nik Collection 9 (a good place to learn how use Nik Collection 9 is The Joy of Editing with Dave Kelley), Boris FX Optics 2026.5 and Filter Forge 15. I think this must have software you should have on your hard drive if you interest in photo editing.
