Some sort Willowherb flowering at side of Hawes Water.

A seed head of Creeping Thistle.

Common Valerian still in flower at side of the footpath around Hawes Water.

A Robin’s Pincushion Gall on Dog Rose at side of footpath.

These two were busy enjoying the sunshine instead of eating the foliage.

I followed the footpath out of the Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve and cross over the road to followed the footpath through Challan Hall Allotment which is now own by the RSPB.
