Ride report by Simeon Orme
The four of us follow our normal route out of  Kendal on to A6,  then we headed up the  A6, soon stopping at Morrison Supermarket for our morning cafe stop. Afterwards we cross over the A6, then followed Gillthwaiterigg Road, then Hall Road and then various lanes up the Kent Valley . At Spring Hag Wood we followed a white road and then a bridleway up to map ref  483988, we then followed road through Littlewood Farm  before joining Hall Lane, we then followed Hall Lane pass Park House. Where we joined our next track which we followed up on to Cocklaw Fell, stopping  for lunch where Shaw Beck crosses under the track.
After lunch we continue along the track over Cocklaw Fell before dropping down into Longsleddale, where we join the Sadgill to Stile End track which we followed back over into the Kentmere Valley. Where we followed the lanes down to Wilf’s at Staveley for our afternoon cafe stop.
After putting the world to right over our coffee, we then follow the lanes back down the east side of the Kent Valley back to Kendal.
