This is 31.55 mile cycle ride, starting and finishing in Kirkby Lonsdale, there one off-road section about 15 percent of ride (Due to nature the off-road section, the ride is best done on Mountain bike or Gravel bike or Heavy duty touring bike with low gears) Here are two café stops at The Crossing Point Café in Kirkby Lonsdale (there are about four other cafes in Kirkby Lonsdale see Yorkshire Dales Café index for more information) and Sedbergh Café is no longer open we recommend Smatt’s Duo Cafe Bar & Bistro in Sedbergh.
