Gautheria procmbens ‘Big Berry’
Information on the label: Is an attractive, low-growing evergreen known for its glossy foliage and large,
bright red berries. This cultivar is prized for producing bigger fruit than the species, adding vibrant color to
winter landscapes. In summer, small, bell-shaped white flowers appear, followed by clusters of ornamental
berries that persist through winter. The aromatic leaves release a pleasant wintergreen scent when crushed.
Height up to 15cms and spread up to 45cms.
Other information: Bought in November 2025 from Beetham Nurseries. Also note the plant is member of the
Ericaceae family so check ph levels before planting or plant in Ericaceae compost in a pot.
