28th January 2025 post and photo of saddle.

A view of saddle on model bike on my TV stand in the living room.
Well you be surprise that being long term ill and being treated for cancer is hard work, this is rare week so far this year where I have only have three health related appointments book for this week, the first one was yesterday to treat wound on my chest from seven hour operation that I had over Christmas, which required visit to the District Nurses clinic where my sister rewarded me with coffee and cake at the Refreshment Room on Carnforth Station (Yes ban from driving or lifting any that anything heavy). I did pay for coffee and cake when we visited the Roost Cafe at RSPB Leighton Moss Visitor Centre the week before. The next health related appointment was phone call from one of the GPs at Ashtrees to see how was getting on has now owner of Stumma bag and Catheter with a leg bag, my main concern here that have take 4 capsules of Lopermide Hydrchloride each day to control the thickest of what come out of the Stumma Bay which does varied through the day, taking two capsules at breakfast and two at teatime seem to work at moment but up my perscription for these so don't run out but might change when start on chemotherapy next week. Also sorting FIT note for work which is going to be for three months. The next health related appointment is from member of Age-UK Living Support Service on Thursday.

The other visit I am looking forward to on Thursday afternoon  from the lads of the Greenkeeping Department of  Morecambe Golf Club and I stock on the biscuits.

Getting back to be owner of stumma bag and Catheter with leg bag, I have had to invest in three storage boxes to keep the medical supplies I need, this include the kit that need change the stumma bag every other day. The catheter get change every three months by the District Nurses, the leg bags get change once week which fairly simple to do its case pluging to tubes together and same for night bags which get plug into leg bag which gives about five to six hours before being woken with abit of sensation from bladder which most folk means going to toilet for pee, for me that means unconecting the night bag from the leg and going back sleep if I can. The night bag gets empty into the toilet each morning, the secret of having catheter you have to drink alot of water through out day so that urine is pale yellow in colour this cut down on infections may get. I found changing the stomma is best done first thing in the morning when you see what you are doing and does take a bit more time than changing leg bag.

Its getting dark outside and other things want to do after added this post to my website but before I go enjoy watching the first (last night) and second (this afternoon) episodes of Paradise on Disney plus its about murder of President of  USA in underground city.
