Well the morning started with small accident, when your webmaster was still in bed he heard a knocking on the front door and forgetting that he was still connected to the night bag via leg bag he jump out of bed and rush to front door  to answer it ! It was good job that both bags manage to disconnect by them self and only lasting damage patch on the carpet floor.

Anyway the knocking  was a parcel delivery and the driver had left it at the back door.

Had not expected the parcel to be deliver so soon and information on the Amazon it was going to be deliver mid week.

After getting the parcel from outside and then getting dress.

I spend most morning working out how set up the Plustek film and slide scanner, so realise I  need  another two slide holders to speed up scanning process which I order with slide viewer and decide at same time to upgrade the Wacom tablet, which I done with most of my computer accessories and once the scanner was set up I had something to eat.

Then headed down the village's pharmacy to hand in the perscription that I got on Thursday and they said could pick up the next day in the afternoon. So walk back across the road the village shop to pick up few more things that I needed, then walk back the long back to home.

I set up two cameras with different macro lens on them and took the photos you find in the above photo gallery.

After editing the photos, I had go with the ePhoto scanner which was quite fast in scanning the photos into the PC and again it was case working out the proccess of changing a paper base photo into file which suitable to be publish on a website which I manage to do with five photos and you can see links to them on the What's New Page

After late tea, I put together the web page for the 23rd February photo gallery and publish it on to the website.

Then started to scan in box of slides which took a bit of time but I am impress with results so far and slide holders on slides do have useful feature they have date stamp and number in film roll when the slides were develop, so when you rename the photo file with the code on the slide holder. The computer start reorganize the photo files into right order they were taken.

The steroids that I was on over the weekend had pass through my body and manage get a good night sleep.
