Well its one of those days where I did have to do any medical but empty the night bag into the toilet and I was looking forward to getting the pump disconnected from the PICC line later on in the day which would finish second treatment of chemotherapy and the only side effects that I notice was I had to be careful getting things freezer, has felt the cold on my hands and its recommend that wear some gloves when doing this!

Anyway after some breakfast, I decide to have play with the cameras, two speed up things, I set up two camera bodies with macro lens, the Pentax K-70 Body with Pentax 50mm F2.8 macro lens, on Slik Mini Pro 7 tripod and the Pentax  K-1 mark two body with the Irex macro lens on Leofoto Ranger LS-223C tripod. The reason for using two different cameras, plants grow at different heights and cut down on the amount dust you get in the camera when changing lens that why keen amateur photographer like me have two or three camera bodies.

I think the stars of the show in the garden for me this morning were Iris reticulata 'Katharine Hodgkin' and Narcissus 'Tete-a-Tete' both lower enough to not suffer wind or storm damage which important factor at this time of the year.

Anyway I took about fifteen photo that I was happy with after editing them.

After put the cameras away, I notice that two my neighbours were prunning an apple tree in their front garden and spend several minutes chatting to them and catching up.

The weather report was not brillant for Sunday, so walk down to the village shop to get a few things and end up have chat with the manager of the shop about Halton and solar power which I am getting to be a bit of  expert on after several years of having them on my roof and explain reason why you have battery storage with them, when its goes dark you still getting power from battery to power your household appliances. Also found that get between £700 to £800 a year from selling the power generate from solar pannels which exported into the grid and depending on which export scheme your house is on it could be higher or lower the amount you get back but amount covers the standing charge and part of the gas bill.

Anyway after finishing chatting, I walk the long way around the block to get back to Beech Road.

After lunch, started to put together the web pages for 20th & 21st  February photo galleries but soon got knock on the door from man from Amazon, so brought the goodies that order the day before in and started remove the cardboard and when was about to take cardboard out to recycling boxes. There was another knock on the door, the district nurse had arrive to disconnect the pump from the PICC line and then flush it which took about 20 minutes to do as we chatting about photography and village life, as she live on High Road in Halton. I did find that my arm was a bit sore later on in the evening due the PICC line being flush out! I soon said my goodbyes to district nurse and thank her for coming out to me.

So I spend most evening unpacking the goodies, which were for camera lighting equipment storage and tripod storage the main ideal is try to keep dust off the equipment when not in use. Then setting up scanning equipment which can be sometime difficult as you have download the software and check that usb cables are plug into usb hub which decide to buy new of so that the PC is talking to various appliances that connected to it better which is doing as it pick up the external hard drive that I have plug in which it did before with usb hubs that I was using.

The main ideal getting the various bits of scanning equipment is to scan in Fred and Pat Lloyd's old photos and match them with the off-road cycling articles that Pat wrote and republish them on the website. Alway think that article about cycling work better showing what doing with alot of photos,

Once got everything working that was deliver via Amazon Prime and have wait to mid week for more powerful slide and film scanner that order to scan in my own collection of slides from before turn digtail.

It was late tea before finishing off writing the posts for the photo blog and a bit TV watching before heading off to bed.
