Once you get head around having stoma bag, I tend change bag first thing in morning after I get up, then change it every other day, its takes me around ten minutes do and worst part is cleaning around stoma with dry wipes, which put a bit water on first few wipes to clean up mess around the stoma, once that done you dry the skin around stoma using dry wipes, so that you can put a new bag on.
Has explain today to someone, its something not worry about they don't let you out of hospital until you confidennce in your ability to change a bag, with me, the stoma nurse came just before 'lunch time' one of days highlights in hospital to do the bag training. Once you leave hospital get given stoma bag kit which come in grey bag, then the nurses come visit you three times over six week period after leave hospital.
Ash Trees Surgery have put all the stoma supplies on repeat perscription so its case for me walking down to Halton branch and handing perscription in!
I hope that clean up any worries about stoma bags and just realise that I have been spelling stoma the wrong way by adding extra 'm' to it over pass few weeks.
Once I done all the medical stuff, wash the dishes up and just started having my breakfast when Fran arrive to take me to see the District Nurses in Carnforth, after chat while I finish my breakfast, catching up each other week we headed off to Carnforth.
The verdict on the small chest wound was keep it cover up with dressing until heals up but I don't have to see again about that and after we said our goodbyes we when to Fran's for coffee and chat before taking me back home.
The thing about investing is keep eye on them, I do this daily with stock porfolio, I notice that Assura plc that had been paper lost over hundred pound was showing paper profit of over fifty pound due takeover bids my gut instinct was sell, as already similar amount invested in Primary Health Properties plc which did same thing renting out and managing health care buildings. I had been kicking myself over past few weeks for investing two companies doing the same thing. So took a small profit and took opportunity to down size by holding in Foresight Solar Fund Ltd, I still believe story with this company and it become profitable investment in the future.
After selling the shares in the two companies, I was reinvesting over third of funds in Associated British Foods plc which read interesting article about in Money Week and 54.5% of the shares are held by the Weston Family which started the company. If you walk pass Primark store or bought Twinings or Ovaltine, Associated British Foods plc owns it and produces the brands. the verdict of article that the company was under value by the market which I believe but with all investing to your own research or ask for advice.
The other two thirds of the funds, invested in JP Morgan China Growth & Income Plc and India Capital Growth Fund. The reason for investing in China is that every that I bought in the pass few weeks is made in China and reason for investing India is that it will be soon the world's third largest economy.
This investing hobby does take a bit to do and time had flown and getting near 3pm there was knock on the front door with the man Amazon bearing photographic goodies which brought in and unpack.
Once finish sorting out the invest portfolio, I had closer look what had order off Amazon and decided to use Neewer Magnetic RGB Video light which you can control from App on the phone and Weyllan LH7 Tripod Base Camera Leveler with usual set up of Pentax K-1 mark two body, Irix macro 150 mm lens with the smaller Leofoto tripod which had on the K&P 36 mm Tripod ball head. I was quite please with how photos turn out and stop part way through photo session to bring in the Tesco order. The camera light work well and order another with two small cheap tripods which I can put lights on. Yes glad bought the camera leveler it makes camera alot easier to position.
