Well I was late up but did not get early morning, had text conversation with Sean from the Greenkeeping department at Morecambe Golf Club on how well the Snowdrops were doing on the course that transplant a few years ago and sent me some photos to look at via facebook's Messenager.

After having a bit breakfast watching the BBC news channel, starting doing the fun stuff and setting the Pentax K-1 mark two body with the Irex macro lens with the new Leofoto Ranger Tripod. The tools that came with tripod are very useful for tighting and untighting connecting the tripod head to camera. I took five photos using this setup which you can above photo camera. At this time of year is looking for opportunites that work, like the photo of bit soil on the young leaf of  Ranunculus 'Brazen Hussy' which took three goes to get the photo right but you don't have to go far to take good macro photo about 99% of the photos in 2025 photo galleries were taken with five yards of my front door.

By time it was time to change over cameras and the postman arrive to deliver the Pentax CS-310 cable switch. I did have about two word conversation with him and hopefully he back again with the larger tripod to try out!

It took a bit more time to set up the Pentax K-70 and the 50 mm macro lens due to like to take photos in portrait format has I think you get a better image to display on web page. I do have useful tool  for doing this when conntect  between the tripod head and camera body you can change the angle which you want to take the photo without moving the tripod head. It was one of those things that bought off Mr Amazon and did not use another few years but it does good job with the Pentax K-70 Body.

One thing I notice when photographying snowdrops I tend to get better image with 150mm lens than I do with 50mm lens.

Once finish playing with the cameras, I did a bit more tidying up and light gardening for half hour before heading in to get some lunch.

Once lunch was finished, I don't where next few hours went as woke up later in the late afternoon listening to BBC News Channel.

I have about finishing writing this post and just have do the techical stuff so that I can publish it on the website.

Will see what happen tomorrow!
